Great day out at Blists Hill Victorian Town, Ironbridge. 

We were able to step back in time to the dawn of the modern age.  Experienced what everyday life was like in 1900.  Saw how technical advances and industry changed people's lives. We visited Victorian shops and cottages, met craftspeople demonstrating their trades and tasted authentic food in the recreated working town.

As you can see we took advantage of having the fish and chips cooked in the old way using beef dripping.  They were delicious.  We also got to see the Iron Bridge on a slight detour home.
